HMCS L26

Wouldn't this be HMCS L26 under Canadian service? 64.229.103.232 (talk) 11:52, 25 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This may be a long time after the initial question, but no. L26 was never commissioned into the RCN, the submarine was only loaned to Canada for training purposes. To have the HMCS prefix, the ship must be commissioned. Llammakey (talk) 13:16, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
