"There was never a debuting band before that published with an album consisting of three records."

[edit]

This seems dubious. For instance, does George Harrison's debut triple album All Things Must Pass not count? — Preceding unsigned comment added by IAmAgentMunky (talkcontribs) 20:25, 29 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I did sound and management -on tour- Thanks to Herbert's Exquisite music.

We had fun and were serious. Enjoyed the public.

Hi I'm pretty sure Gentlemen/not beasts was 1977 or 1978 at the latest. John Peel played tracks from that double album on his show in 77/78. -- MarkrBarker

Hey Mark, the Half Gentlmen 3xLP was indeed released in 1980. There was a cassette version released some time in 1979 (with a different tracklist). The songs were all recorded between 1977 and 1979.

NPOV

[edit]

Calling NPOV on this... it seems really opinionated. "Worst song ever recorded"?

Hm, can we remove the NPOV octagon graphic thing now? It seems somebody has removed the offending sentence. Iguana Scales 20:12, 11 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

"kindred spirits"

[edit]

I think a tighter list of like-minded artists can be developed. HJ are way more out than Patti Smith or the 13th Floor Elevators- Jonathon (sic) Richman is a little more on target, but there are many outsider 'weird punk' artists that could be chosen instead. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.99.230.236 (talk) 18:31, 9 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

OR, POV, Peacock, Tone

[edit]

This article has serious problems with tone and has several uncited statements that are POV and/or OR and/or peacocky. It should have been more closely scrutinized before being okayed for DYK. Boston (talk) 19:22, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
