Colour and accessibility[edit]

For accessibility reasons, neither colour alone nor emboldening should not be used to convey information, as here. Please add a textual indicator, such as a numbered key, or an additional "status" column. Thank you. Andy Mabbett | Talk to Andy Mabbett 09:11, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ext Links[edit]

Blanked external link as main part went to web archive site and pages were part nonfunctioning, and source quoted went to a page offering name for sale, and adverts - Spam ? -BulldozerD11 (talk) 23:42, 7 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Kingsbury[edit]

'or at its yard in Kingsbury' - not happy with this statement - Kingsbury scrapyard is owned by European Metakl Rycycling Ltd (EMR) no HNRC. 62.6.252.139 (talk) 16:32, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Expand[edit]

Other than a list of trains no. which may belong on a Wikia fan site. Artile contains no serious info. details need building up on company to be Notable and encyclopaedic and not just a list of train nos..BulldozerD11 (talk) 03:01, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nearly 15 years later, and the article doesn't even contain a comprehensive vehicle list! DAB (talk) 19:00, 6 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Accessibility of colours[edit]

There is insufficient contrast between foreground text and background cell colours in the table of locomotives, to meet accessibility guidelines. Would editors like to agree on a higher-contrast scheme, perhaps with more pastel shades? Andy Mabbett (User:Pigsonthewing); Andy's talk; Andy's edits 16:07, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

@Pigsonthewing: I've had a go, is this an improvement? Murgatroyd49 (talk) 09:27, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Needle[edit]

Is there, or was there, a person called Harry Needle? If so, this article would be improved by some biographical detail. Barney Bruchstein (talk) 15:46, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Harry Christopher Needle, Engineer, born 1961, currently living in Manchester. From Companies House. Murgatroyd49 (talk) 20:11, 17 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
