Name?
[edit]Should this be moved to Hatay Archeology Museum per their site? I'm not certain which is the proper name of the museum StarM 01:57, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- I think both names are used, but "Hatay Archeology Museum" is clearly the name used by the museum itself. Some travel guides (incl. Lonely Planet) use Antakya. We could ask people at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Turkey how to call the museum in English. Markussep Talk 12:53, 8 March 2012 (UTC)
- Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Turkey#Antakya_Archaeological_Museum asked there. Good idea, thanks StarM 23:14, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
- Hatay is the name of the province and Antakya is the name of a single city. The official name of the museum is Hatay Arkeoloji Müzesi [1] That is probably because the finds are from various parts of the province and not solely from Antakya. Thus, Hatay seems a better choice for the name of the museum. But it is also popularly called "Antakya Müzesi". Since both names are redirected I don't think the naming is a big problem. - THanks for that clarification and explanation StarM 21:17, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
- OK, let's move it to Hatay Archeology Museum then. Markussep Talk 22:02, 18 March 2012 (UTC)
