Discussion

[edit]

This article has the potential to be an article on the Health Service Executive or even Health Service Executive (Ireland) rather than simple the geography of the system. Any comments? Djegan 22:35, 13 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I don't have a great deal more to contribute as I was really just interested in the collection of counties which made up the Health Boards, but I think it would be good to develop it into a better, more comprehensive article on the HSE.

So feel free to go ahead, and move the page to "Health Service Executive" if you want. NotMuchToSay 22:45, 14 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Needs a bit of rewording

[edit]

Some of the "HSE services" section reads more like an official leaflet than an encyclopedia article. "Finally, if you are wondering..." is not the tone of an encyclopedia! 86.141.199.66 (talk) 17:19, 8 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV??

[edit]

News and criticism section is particularly non-compliant with NPOV and is heavily biased against the body. 93.107.203.204 (talk) 16:16, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

name

[edit]

Why does the name of this article include '(Ireland)'? It seems this is only article with the words 'Health Service Executive' so why not just rename the article to Health Service Executive and switch the re-direct? Hmains (talk) 02:25, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Alot of information out of date

[edit]

Alot of the information on this page is very out of date including the list of National Directors and some of information about the structure of the HSE. How can you go about getting this updated? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 137.191.241.9 (talk) 15:00, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Health Service Executive/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Despite being over a screenful, I have assessed this article as a stub rather than as start-class because it doesn't seem to me to meet any of the start-class criteria set out on the Quality scale:
  • particularly useful picture or graphic? — no
  • multiple links that help explain or illustrate the topic — no
  • a subheading that fully treats an element of the topic — no
  • multiple subheadings that indicate material that could be added to complete the article — no
