I think there's sufficient context. On subjects such as this which include not a single controversial statement, lack of references isn't enough reason to delete. (Note that I didn't create the article). Malc82 (talk) 19:55, 4 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, except that the content is wrong. HimbeerGEIST is different from other fruit brandies in that it does not use fermented raspberries to distill this Schnaps, but other types of pomace and low-grade wines. The alcoholic vapor is then passed through Raspberries, thus extracting the flavor. That's why it cannot be called HimbeerWASSER.
