Why this page is being created

[edit]

For the discussion on why this page is being created, please have a look at Talk:Manchester_United_F.C. At the moment it just contains the relevant stuff from History of Manchester United; I'm about to merge in the relevant text from Manchester United F.C. CTOAGN 11:51, 12 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Busby Babes Merger

[edit]

I'm proposing this merger as I was working on updating the Busby Babes article in userspace since it was so short for such a significant team. However, I came across this article today and discovered that in essence, it covers all the relevent points and any history of this period would also be a history of the team known as the Busby Babes. Since the other article isn't particular well cited, it may simply be worthwhile inserting as a redirect, but I wanted to get a concensus before I did anything as drastic as that.
