No overview of "History of the Jews in the Soviet Union"?[edit]

How did it come about that there is no article in Wikipedia that describes in general how the Jews faired under the Soviet regime? i.e. changing policies towards Jews, attitude toward Yiddish? This is a topic in itself.Jimhoward72 (talk) 02:01, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Agreed. I've appended a (partial?) list of USSR-specific articles to the bottom, but I still think it deserves more. Korossyl (talk) 17:04, 27 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
This is the first article in this format I've ever seen, it's kind of jarring. 23:09, 28 February 2013 (UTC)~~ — Preceding unsigned comment added by 149.31.142.10 (talk)
Almost 7 years have passed, and there is still bugger all in the article about the history of the Jews in the Soviet Union (as a whole). Wikipedia: Fail. 70.29.99.106 (talk) 20:19, 4 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of History of the Jews in the Soviet Union's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 00:51, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

trying to convert article from a list of links to prose[edit]

Hi, this is a rough start, but I'm starting to add in content on the different Jewish subgroups in the Soviet Union.OnBeyondZebrax (talk) 15:47, 20 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
