As the 3rd and least notable of Kersten's books, it makes sense for it to be merged here. In ictu oculi (talk) 01:24, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Totally needs to merge in here. History2007 (talk) 01:37, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I just realized that in the book Kersten argues that the Vatican faked things to make the shroud look medieval... That is called theory formation after 13 beers... amazing... History2007 (talk) 02:54, 31 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Notovitch story corroborated by Swami Abhedananda[edit]

Propose adding this after the sentence Notovitch is said to have confessed to having fabricated the evidence.

( derived from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolas_Notovitch)

However, in 1922 Swami Abhedananda visited the Hemis monastery and corroborated much of Notovitch's story. Given access to the manuscripts on Jesus Christ, Abhedananda later published an abbreviated version of Notovich's translated account.( ref 1) After Abhedananda's death in 1939, one of his disciples inquired about the documents at the monastery, but was told they disappeared. If there are no scholarly objections, I'll check back here in a couple of weeks or so and make the changes. SteamWiki (talk) 22:54, 11 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
