It has been suguested on my talk page by the creator that : "WP:CSD#A7 says that it doesn't apply to schools; I would hope that by the same reasoning it wouldn't apply to an institution that has provided tertiary education for almost 50 years."

Speedy declined, but per WP:N could do with more in the way of substantial independent comment - Sri Lanka newspaper article reads like the Australian Trade Commission dutifully regurgitating the prospectus, and the rest are listings. JohnCD (talk) 13:08, 6 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I'm surprised at the lack of useful English-languages sources which are available online. Hopefully someone with more interest, such as the institution themselves, eventually notices the poor state of this article, due to the notability tag, and digs up some more in-depth newspaper articles.
