Knighthood[edit]

The O.B.E. in itself doesn't confer knighthood. Only the K.B.E. and G.B.E. does within the Order of the British Empire. - (203.211.70.190 (talk) 01:44, 24 September 2009 (UTC))[reply]

'Howard Morrison OBE' received a knighthood within the Order of the British Empire in 1990 - a KBE. That supercedes and extinguishes the OBE. Suggested Improvements[edit]

Things to add to improve the article include:

links to the more comprehensive and authoritative biographies which are bound to appear in the media over the coming weeks. Please don't add links to every article that mentions his death; look for longer articles which include details that aren't in the wikipedia article already, particularly those with long quotes from family and colleagues.
more information on his family background and iwi, with references
more information on his performing life and work in Rotorua since his return, again, with references
complete diskography (list of records)

The Times Newspaper in England had a biography of Howard Morrison today 5th October 200981.155.4.40 (talk) 21:43, 5 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Discography[edit]

I have started a reformat of the discography section (currently invisible; in ), but I need release years confirmed (dates would be even better) with reliable sources. If someone else wants to have a crack, feel free, and continue for all sections; I have only started the solo studio albums.
