military service[edit]

The military service section stated he left after the death of his step-mother in 1882. As his only step-mother lived until 1920 that seems to be an error and I removed it. The cited reference does not support the statement - it confirms he resigned in 1882 but did not the reason. Robert Bin Peters (talk) 04:35, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Error in bio[edit]

Hugh Macdonald was never the Premier of Ontario as stated in the banner on his biography here. He was Premier of Manitoba from Jan. 10, 1900 (not 2000) 2607:FEA8:C1DF:7100:9951:5CA3:85E:E41A (talk) 22:14, 10 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
