remove the semi-protected lock please. 101.180.130.205 (talk) 07:33, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you want the lock to be removed  ? Kpgjhpjm 07:41, 30 June 2018 (UTC) Just so it is for safety and also others can be safe and it can benefit the page properly without the locks other than having to lock the page like as if you’re nervous or anything. This is my purpose for why Hughesy, We Have a Problem should be unlocked.[reply]

Per MOS:BOLD, the series number should not be bold text. Mitch Ames (talk) 07:52, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
My post of 07:52, 30 June 2018 (UTC) was in response to 101.180.130.205's request to "Make the series number bolder please", as it appeared at this version of the talk page. That specific part of the request was subsequently removed by 2001:8003:445f:4c00:8d35:169b:89b1:3f93. Mitch Ames (talk) 08:16, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You locked the page on 16 June 2018, showing that the semi-protected lock will expire on 30 June 2018 at 16:40. It is passed the given date and time and it is still locked. Please unlock the page immediately as the limited amount of time for the semi-protected lock has expired. Nothing wrong will occur after it is unlocked. 101.180.130.205 (talk) 11:34, 30 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

bold format for season numbers

[edit]

Lest I fall foul of WP:3RR, can I have someone else's opinion of whether the season numbers should be bold-formatted. I assert not, because MOS:BOLD says that "Boldface ... is considered appropriate only for certain usages", which are listed, and season numbers is not one of those usages. 2001:8003:445F:4C00:DD1E:8DAA:2124:5C15 apparently thinks otherwise. Mitch Ames (talk) 05:55, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No they should of course not be bolded, but in any case using the standard series overview template negates the issue anyway, keeping formatting consistent, so I've replaced the table with the template, per WP:TVOVERVIEW. -- Whats new?(talk) 07:37, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

broadcast time/day

[edit]

I assert [1][2] that the sentence "... premiered [sic] 8:40pm every Tuesdays on Network Ten" is not appropriate per MOS:TV#Broadcast, "Days or timeslots are not inherently notable", but 2001:8003:445f:4c00:dd1e:8daa:2124:5c15 [3] and Hhkohh [4] appear to disagree. Can I have some other editors' opinions please. In particular, @Hhkohh: could you state whether you explicitly agree with the inclusion of that sentence (and if so why), or whether you merely restored it as part of a larger reversion. Mitch Ames (talk) 11:13, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Mitch Ames: Unsourced context and it should be removedHhkohh (talk) 11:21, 1 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Episode counts

[edit]

Some time ago an editor was persistently adding episode counts for guest stars and any attempt to remove those counts, which are contrary to MOS:TVCAST, was being reverted. Eventually, an editor removed the "Guests" section in toto and that seemed to resolve the situation. However, the guests table was restored on 20 November in this edit. I removed it today, referencing MOS:TV,[5] but the section was restored 25 minutes later by (apparently) the same editor who was previously restoring the table.[6] To be clear, MOS:TVCAST is clear: "The cast listing should not contain an episode count, e.g. (6 episodes) or (episodes 1–6), to indicate the number of episodes in which the actor or character appeared." Since this is obviously an ongoing issue, restoration will be treated accordingly, which may result in editors who persistently restore the table finding themselves unable to edit Wikipedia. --AussieLegend () 03:35, 17 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
