Untitled[edit]

recently i have been watching such movies such as Human trafiic , trainspotting and layer cake. i feel that these films have quite a strong message about drugs and with all the high life of them all (wich is all fake in its own way.. ur not really happy) it shows you the real life behind it all. I love these films and would watch them over and over again... im not one for being strongly against drugs, but i dont take any. i was wondering if these films had any different insights from other people... and what they thought of the film.

would it mkae you want to try drugs? or stay clear of them, and sort your life out. TO me human traffic made me want to try drugs and see what all the fuss was about. would be really intrested on peoples feed back.

thanx becks

Excessive Cast Section[edit]

Does anyone else think the cast section is a bit excessive right now? Usually one only lists the principles, but this one seems to be listing pretty much anybody that showed their face in the movie. That doesn't seem very encyclopedic. I'm pretty sure much of that is irrelevant. Perhaps someone with a better knowledge of this movie (I have only seen it once) could pare that down a little? 73 quid?[edit]

thought it was like 26 quid in his back pocket, not 73 quid!! its deff not 73 quid (uk verson)

Just checked the (Remixed) version and its 73 quid.
Even in Cardiff, even in 1999, 26 quid wouldn't be enough to have a weekend you'd remember on Monday morning...

Actress's name[edit]

This article, and the imdb, refer to the actress who play's Nina as Nicola Reynolds (with no 'h' in Nicola). The link to her article goes nowhere however because her Wikipaedia article is titled Nichola Reynolds (with an 'h' in Nichola).

I'm not sure which is the correct spelling of her name. Anyone know? Ranny11 21:35, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Quotes section[edit]

This section isn't encyclopedic. I haven't seen any other wiki articles for films that have such a section. I'll go ahead and remove it if there are no objections. Maximusveritas (talk) 22:52, 13 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Weasel Words[edit]

"Many reviewers found the plot simple and derivative" Who? What reviewers? I have added a weasel words to this section of this article.--203.206.205.225 (talk) 07:02, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jungle[edit]

Changed the quote "Any new jungle in, guy?" to "Any jungle in, guy?" . The correct quote can clearly be heard here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBeMo4uOnbI 90.242.125.25 (talk) 15:06, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Changed it back. Wash your ears out. Nick Cooper (talk) 16:33, 2 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I second that it is "Any jungle in, guy". There is clearly no "new" in the youtube clip. Maybe you should wash your ears. -- Kju (talk) 21:42, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe you should watch the actual film, not some crappy jumpy YouTube clip. The "n" in "new" isn't very well defined, but there's clearly an "ew" between "any" and "jungle." Even whoever did the US DVD's subtitles (the only version that has them) managed to hear it right. Nick Cooper (talk) 22:58, 31 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
BS. I own the movie on DVD in different editions. You are simply wrong. -- Kju (talk) 23:52, 21 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Wow! In the four months it's taken you to reply, you could have bought yourself a hearing aid... Nick Cooper (talk) 16:42, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

B Class[edit]

This has been increased from 4 to 24 references including good secondary sources. Various inaccuracies has been removed along with a lot of content which is merely opinion. A bias towards Danny Dyer in the synopsis has been balanced. Now follow structure of similar articles like Trainspotting (film). Repetitions have been removed and common themes groups together. Cast list[edit]

It's not usual for Wikipedia to include such a comprehensive cast list: since none of the minor characters have their own pages, I'm intending to edit the list down to just the ones with blue links. I'll give it a week and if nobody's come up with a compelling argument in favour of keeping it as it is, I'll be bold ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 10:13, 6 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

No objections, so I've gone ahead ~dom Kaos~ (talk) 23:33, 14 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

"Like Bill Hicks said: 'It's an insane world, but I'm proud to be part of it.'"[edit]

Just wondering if this was a real Bill Hicks quote as I've watched pretty much all the material Bill Hicks ever did (all CD's & DVD'S, including lots of obscure Youtube stuff, though I haven't read all the books yet) & I've never seen him say it. Plus, I can't seem to find a source for it anywhere on the internet & I think it might have just been made up.

Respect to Justin Kerrigan for introducing me to Bill Hicks in the first place through this film - he truly is a latter day prophet.

Yes apparently he did say it on the Relentless video.
