Was this song an out take of the "Erotica" or "Bedtime Stories" Album
[edit]Just being curious was this song written for one of the albums above or just a song written for the movie "With Honours"?Jdcrackers (talk) 00:43, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
- Neither. 06:17, 27 April 2010 (UTC)
A Class promotion
[edit]I would like to know my fellow editors comments as to whether this article can be promoted to A-class or not. I believe this one won't pass through FAC because content wise its a little short for FA standard, but since A-class doesnot have any withholding on the size of the article, I would like to know if we can have a consensus to promote it. --Legolas (talk2me) 06:20, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Aside from a few minor tweaks I think the article would pass A-class candidacy. Some things I think need tweaking are to keep things consistent with other reference formats in the article the letter r should be capitalized in the retrieval date in reference 6 and the title links for references 6 and 26 should not be written in italics. Also, I think the co-writer in the personnel section should be linked to songwriter and I think it would be better if the song's tracklistngs have sources. Other than the problems I've listed, there should be no problem with getting the article to A-class status. Crystal Clear x3 06:37, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- This article is FA, I Don't Remember, and it's even shorter than this.190.233.4.144 (talk) 07:50, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- The article was prmoted to FA in 2008, when FA rules were much more relaxed. Had this been nominated now, it wouldn't have hold a candle with the toughness that FAC's are reviewed. --Legolas (talk2me) 08:03, 20 May 2010 (UTC)

Unofficial Peer Review
[edit]I don't think there are problems with the length. Speechless (Michael Jackson song) has the same extention and it is a candidate and no one has objected about it. Only 3 [[Category:A-Class song articles|song-related articles]] exist, basing me on them I reviewed the article and there are some problems:
Lead
- I'll Remember -> I'll Remember (shortened from I'll Remember [Theme from With Honors])
- March 8, 1994, by Warner Bros. Records as the soundtrack single of the 1994 film With Honors -> "1994" is twice on the first paragraph
- who had received negative feedback both critically and commercially for the prior two years due -> who had received negative feedback, both critically and commercially, for the prior two years due
- release of the book -> release of her book
- studio album Erotica -> the studio album Erotica
- Madonna's voice is supported by backing vocals. Contemporary critics praised the song, hailing it as one of Madonna's best works. After its release, the song peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100, becoming Madonna's fifth song -> "Madonna's" is used three times.
- Corrected all .--Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Background
- I see "Madonna" nine times in the section, Why do not use "her" and "she"?
- "Secret Garden" is mentioned in the infobox, but I don't see information about it.
- Reference 10 ({{Citation|url=http://www.billboard.com/#/charts/hot-100?chartDate=1994-05-28&order=gainer|title=The Billboard Hot 100: Week Ending May 28, 1994|date=1994-05-28|work=Billboard|publisher=Nielsen Business Media, Inc|accessdate=2009-08-18}}</ref>) go to the Biggest Jump of the week. The source should be this -> http://www.billboard.com/#/charts/hot-100?chartDate=1994-05-28&order=position
- Corrected. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Images
- Both images should have WP:ALT text.
- The caption of File:Ill-remember 044.jpg should be its Alt text. Also the caption should be something about the comparison with the song "Rain", because the image itself fails the Rule #8.
- Corrected. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
References
- Ref 16 doesn't contain "work="
- Yes it has, TOCC. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ref 18, both, "Ultratop 50" and "Hung Medien" published it?
- No, I think you are misunderstanding because the work parameter for online sources should not be italicized, hence Ultratop is kept as such. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- Ref 19, both, "Irish Recorded Music Association" and "irishcharts.ie" published it?
- Same as before. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
Those are some problems. I don't know which is the lenght for a WP:FA, but it can pass the A-class. TbhotchTalk C. 18:26, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks for comments. --Legolas (talk2me) 10:59, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome TbhotchTalk C. 16:43, 21 May 2010 (UTC)
