The result of the move request was: not moved; indications provided below show that the use of "IB" on Wikipedia does not necessarily reflect its use in the World Wide Web. -- JHunterJ (talk) 20:06, 20 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

IBIB (disambiguation) – acronym IB is far more likely to refer to international baccalaureate than anything else. TheSunIsAStar147147 (talk) 14:15, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak support. Initially I assumed there would be no way there weren't other good contenders since it's uncommon for two and three letter initials to have a primary topic. However it really does appear to be the primary topic, few other items seem to be so commonly referred to just by the initials without the full name being explained first. Searching English-language Indian/Pakistani sources, it's not that common to refer to the Intelligence Bureaus as just IB, the main use there is international baccalaureate and International Border.
Although international baccalaureate is the primary topic, this disambiguation page doesn't get that many views, only 400 / month compared to international baccalaureate's 30,000 / month. If this page is not moved, I would at least suggest that it should start with IB commonly refers to:  • International Baccalaureate. – Thjarkur (talk) 17:19, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Support based on the analysis done by Thjarkur above. Also, I have boldly made the change suggested about moving International Baccalaureate to the top. —C.Fred (talk) 22:47, 13 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
