Nationalities
[edit]I've been helping to expand the article for this all-but-forgotten crash, and something caught my eye. There were 37 deaths, all sources agree, but the numbers in the article's nationality table (as of Sept 2009) add up to 36, so we're one short. To muddy the waters a bit more, the nationality breakdown described at http://www.fernhurstsociety.org.uk/caravelle.html is, quoting:
"There were no survivors from a total complement of 30 passengers and 7 crew ... The victims on the scheduled flight, Iberia 062, were the all-Spanish crew, and the passengers comprising 25 British, mostly returning from holiday in Spain, 2 Americans, 2 Spaniards and 2 Australians."
Add those passenger numbers up and you get 31, and then if you include the 7-member crew you'll get 38, which is one too many. Perhaps someone of dual-nationality is causing the discrepancy? It's a minor thing I suppose, but in the interests of accuracy I suggest that the nationality table be fixed somehow, or dropped entirely. Thoughts? --Itsfullofstars (talk) 08:44, 4 September 2009 (UTC)
I've commented out the table. Here is a copy as it appeared in the article:

- Yes, thank you. It looks like the original table should have listed two Americans. The numbers now add up, so I've put the corrected table back in the article. --Itsfullofstars (talk) 06:45, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
