IFAF Regional Bodies
[edit]For now I'm pulling OFAF off the list. The body does not exist on the IFAF official listing and google searches do not return a site either. IFAF members in the Oceania region, such as Gridiron Australia, report directly to IFAF and do not go through a regional body. However, if someone can find credible sources please feel free to add it again. --Bren talk 04:50, 2 June 2007 (UTC)
Clarity
[edit]Under goals, what does "Participation in the World Games as well as the Olympic Games to be stong to play football" mean? I can't figure out what "stong" means, and "strong" doesn't fit the context. - BillCJ (talk) 05:58, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
New Zealand
[edit]Can anyone confirm that New Zealand was suspended? BDota (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 01:13, 4 June 2010 (UTC).

Schism
[edit]There is currently a de facto schism with more than one group claiming to be the legitimate head of IFAF. Why is this not mentioned anywhere on this article? Hobbitschuster (talk) 21:55, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
- No one has put it in yet, If you have the time go ahead and begin it, the nearly official schism between the "New York" and "Paris" factions should be noted, with a list of nations in both groups, their Presidents and the expulsion of USA Football from IFAF Paris, AFI is a good place to start, and the Court of Arbitration for Sport is going to hear a case for legitimacy. 93.182.215.115 (talk) 00:07, 2 July 2017 (UTC)
- Apparently CAS has decided against the Paris faction led by Tommy Wiking, which means that once the decision is officially published this article will represent only the illegitimate side. In this case the article should be rewritten according to the CAS opinion and possibly a separate new article be created for Wiking's post-2015 organization should they choose to ignore the court decision. -2001:14BA:1FFE:6900:8528:3E73:4B83:660D (talk) 11:47, 15 October 2017 (UTC)
- They haven't actually determined which one is official, just that Wiking had resigned, while records in Paris say Maclean, Wiking's group is still seated in Paris, with the other group in New York. There has to be a way to get that across better, plus there are plenty of problems that have to be noted where different factions ran different tournaments.2604:2D80:800A:8168:A911:BCA8:420A:D2FA (talk) 00:36, 30 November 2017 (UTC)
