[edit]

This entire article reads like an advertisement for Mary Evans Young. Furthermore, apart from the mention on a radio station, none of the sources listed really establish the subject's notability in any way. As if that wasn't enough, the article perpetuates potentially dangerous misinformation about fitness and dieting. This thing needs either a serious rewrite or outright deletion. --Imperialles (talk) 16:54, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Horrible Idea

Citation 1

[edit]

"those who complete weight loss programs lose approximately 10 percent of their body weight only to regain two-thirds within a year and almost all of it within five years."

Unsure as to why this is included, seems a little disingenuous. The source is referring to those dieters who use diet products which promise permanent weight loss without change of behavior, not all weight loss programs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.150.225.255 (talk) 12:16, 7 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Bias

[edit]

Hi, I've edited large chunks of this article to remove many unnecessary details related to the movement's founder, unverifiable details about its history and odd phrasing that feels biased toward one particular viewpoint or another. However, this article still needs work in this regard and is very much still generally written in an unprofessional and personal tone. Elevenevilworms (talk) 20:00, 8 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
