Olympic record[edit]

  • Since the under-21 competition rules insist that players must be 21 or under at the start of a two year competition, technically it is an U-23 competition.
  • Winner of U-21 qualify for Olympics games, Italy U-21 equal to non-UEFA countries U-23 team. and recently years Olympic games is a U-23 event, i suggest adding Olympic record to this page, and records on Mediterranean Games. Matthew_hk tc 13:09, 23 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Current and recent players[edit]

I think it's important to keep recent players listed. For example, England national football team keeps recent players listed for 1 year after their last cap. Since U21 records are much harder to come by, and the dates of players' last caps are difficult to obtain, I propose keeping the players born in 1984 and 1985 until June 2008, one year from them becoming ineligible. What do people think?  slυмgυм [ ←→ ] 21:30, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:FIGC logo.svg[edit]

The image Image:FIGC logo.svg is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Total Revamping[edit]

This wiki is totally out of date, many of the players mentioned are no longer eligible for the U-21's and the entire layout needs an overhaul. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.68.175.21 (talk) 23:41, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Loans[edit]

Hi guys, does it have sense to indicate that a player is playing for a team on loan from another (in the "Current squad" and "Recent calls up" sections)? It heavier the page with additional link, gives no additional info respect the activity of the national team and no other similar page (U21 national football teams) includes such info that, anyways, can be found inside single players' pages. I suggest to remove them.
