"Indian Removal Commission"
[edit]A couple of recent sources state he served on the Indian Removal Commission in 1854. I can't find any evidence of such a commission existing. There was the Stokes Commission two decades earlier. Was the commission called something else? What? Who served on it? When and where did it meet? Should the statement be removed in the meantime? It seems dubious. FloridaArmy (talk) 20:46, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
