Page started by user:lookinhere 3-25-08 plese be patient, contribute rather than shot down the Historical figure. It is not fair to erase people from history.(Lookinhere (talk) 18:53, 27 March 2008 (UTC))

Except that the article hasn't been developed. An article must establish the notability of it's subject, which is not done here. You can't make articles for all of your ancestors. Grsz 11 18:55, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Don't worry Grsz, I won't be making pages for ALL of my ancestors, only the famous ones of notability who are not yet accounted for, what is your real pev here, you seem to have a personal vendetta to take out on me.(Lookinhere (talk) 19:26, 27 March 2008 (UTC))

Keep it calm. It appears there is some merit to this article.Chrislk02 Chris Kreider 19:50, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

Google books is your friend. Look at this one, which has a lot that could be added to this article:

Captain James Avery[edit]

I am trying to understand why his title of Captain was removed from the page, was he demoted?(Lookinhere (talk) 06:23, 29 March 2008 (UTC))

The term "Captain" is fairly ambiguous and a reader could think he was one of several different things. Grsz 11 13:21, 29 March 2008 (UTC)
