Criticism of Parsons
[edit]The article relates specific criticism, reportedly published in a 1974 book by Joseph Goulden, but provides no page numbers. I've deleted that section until it can be properly sourced, as is appropriate for a biography. A review I read of this book had no reference at all to Parson or his performance. A previous editor had the following: "Goulden was very critical of Parsons, claiming that a poll of Chicago lawyers revealed that only 15% had a favorable opinion of the judge. Goulden also wrote that Parsons had sat on the bench while drunk and that an overwhelming number of lawyers complained that he was unable to understand the issues in complex cases." The citation needs to include the page number in the book. Quotes would also be useful.Parkwells (talk) 17:33, 23 September 2014 (UTC)
