Sentence Doesn't Make Sense

[edit]

This sentence... "His vast Italianate mansion at Silverton Park, Devon, for the fourth Earl of Egremont, who had inherited the title but not the great family seat, Petworth in Sussex, determined to build a rival structure." ...doesn't make sense grammatically, but I'm not sure how to fix it. I think it's missing a verb, and maybe should be broken into a couple of smaller sentences.MrX 02:48, 15 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
