Beard
[edit]Looks like there is no mention of his beard, but there is definitely at least some press about it. I don't know if this is true, but I seem to remember hearing that he was doing this in tribute to ZZ Top? Could just be hearsay. I saw him at a small venue where one might talk about things like that, but he doesn't actually talk to the audience very much (no problems with that at all -- he does music for him and that's pretty cool). But I digress, does anyone know anything more? Laundry Week (talk) 22:29, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Living For A Song
[edit]Why is this link being redirected? I was working on an article for this page, but it's a constant, infinite loop now. Why? QValintyne (talk) 11:58, 17 October 2012 (UTC)
- I don't know but it seems to meet notability requirements (covered by Washington Post and Alt Sounds; Reviewed by Rolling Stone and Washington Post). A red link works for "articles you intend to create" as well. I guess I say keep working on the article and I look forward to reading it and can always help out if you need anything. Hopefully you wont have any more trouble and, if so, a concerned user will take it up here instead. Laundry Week (talk) 18:00, 19 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for the reply. I'll see what I can do to get it all done. I wrote the article for We Walk The Line: A Celebration of the Music of Johnny Cash in order to link Jamey's contributions and the contributions of other artists to their respective pages. I know this is semi-irrelevant to the task at hand, but I would like to get a free-use approved image for that article. If you could help, I'd surely appreciate it! - Thanks for the note; I've added it. However, I know very little about this subject; this article is only on my watchlist to deal with vandalism. Therefore, if I've worded something incorrectly, that'll be why. Graham87 14:35, 20 March 2022 (UTC)
