[edit]How old is she?Lan Di 19:12, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
This article is word-for-word copied and pasted from the Fox News biography of her. Wikitoddia (talk) 01:27, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
- She was born before 1970. The artice states that " At 22, she worked for Johnny Carson during his contract renewal with NBC and also his divorce." Carson was divorced in August 1985 from Johanna Holland. If she was 22 then, that means she was born in 1963. 2601:C6:D200:C8D0:6015:F188:1203:FEBA (talk) 11:44, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
COPYVIO
[edit]I just removed most of this article, as it was a word-for-word copyright violation of text lifted from her Fox News Channel biography. If any of that material is to be used, it needs to be rewritten. As it stood it was not only a COPYVIO, but also too promotional. Dayewalker (talk) 22:23, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
Age
[edit]Ms Colby is very sensitive about her age. The fact is she works in a youth-driven media, and age issues have a direct relationship to career. Its not uncommon for those who work in the media to be shy about their ages, given the fact that each year new journalists graduate from colleges that have high "Q-Factors" that managers want to put in front of the audience. Television news has been criticized for short skirts and lip gloss on news readers and that element prevails on television and ratings drive advertizing income. Now given all that, one can't escape from public verifiable facts about themselves. As long as it is unverified, its best to leave her age off the article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.30.111.250 (talk) 08:30, 9 May 2014 (UTC)
She was born in 1970. I think some of the dates listed for her degrees (1980, and 1983) are incorrect. Also, if this is the same woman who works for Fox News, she did not work on the Tonight Show for Johnny Carson. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.137.23.26 (talk) 08:27, 15 January 2015 (UTC)
