Just a suggestion for an image to use.

Perhaps use this image but crop it to just above the persons head in the bottom middle, so the plaque is still visible. However there may be better images out there. Please post them here if you find any. If they are going to be in the article they must not be copyrighted and as such be free to use. Helper201 (talk) 22:19, 12 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Verbcatcher. Thank you for notifying me of the licensing and copyright. I have not uploaded any images to Wikipedia before and started this here on the talk page due to not being sure of what licensing restrictions can and can't be uploaded and wasn't aware exactly what licensing and copyright this image has. Montgomeryshire - "strong" second?

[edit]

I am not sure that the statement "On a backdrop of a tough set of elections for the Welsh Liberal Democrats Dodds came a strong second on all three occasions" about her standing in Montgomeryshire (UK Parliament constituency) in 2015 & 2017 and Montgomeryshire (Assembly constituency) in 2016 is fair and is possibly unintentionally misleading. While it is difficult to quantify exactly what counts as a "strong second" and it is arguably a POV issie, it would seem to imply either a closeness in result or an improvement on previous elections. In 2015 and 2017 the Liberal Democrats share of the vote in Montgomeryshire fell from the previous election and the Conservative majority increased. Indeed in 2017 the Conservatives had more than double the Lib Dem vote. Equally in 2016 the Lib Dem vote in Montgomeryshire with Dodd's as the candidate fell by nearly 6%, but in the next door seat of Brecon and Radnorshire (Assembly constituency), Kirsty Williams increased the Lib Dem vote by 9%. I think therefore it might be better to delete the word "strong" from the statement. Dunarc (talk) 21:47, 15 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
