Actor and...[edit]

If the lede mentions all of his occupations beyond actor, they should also be mentioned in the article with sources. Otherwise they don't contribute to what makes him notable and shouldn't be there. Tumblehome (talk)

Nude Scene[edit]

Something should be mentioned about his upcoming nude scene in "Becoming Sarah Marshall" or some such film. it was mentioned on fox news. (talk) 14:22, 3 April 2008 (UTC)

I added that in Forgetting_Sarah_Marshall#Nudity.--Patrick (talk) 21:31, 5 July 2008 (UTC)

Maybe someone could add the fact that he has a younger sister, Alison Segel, born in 1986. He mentioned her in a few interviews and I found a confirmation for that on his Yahoo!Movies-page.Link: Raspberrymilkshake (talk) 02:03, 17 April 2009 (UTC)

Original song with his phone number[edit]

On 11/18/2009, Jason appeared on stage with the band The Swell Season and he played an original song that repeatedly gave out his phone number. There was a woman on stage holding a sign with the number on it. Perhaps this could be added as it is something fairly unique and interesting. It was posted on YouTube: (talk) 00:36, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

German descent[edit]

Segel is a common German surname. Anyone know anything about his descent? Probably German Jews? (talk) 01:43, 2 December 2011 (UTC)

It's not really a common surname. I've never heard of anyone else with that name in my entire life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 09:53, 14 March 2012 (UTC)
But it is! Almost everyone here in Germany knows someone with that name. It's like Smith in England or Nguyen in Vietnam. Someone should add that to the article! -- (talk) 13:51, 16 June 2012 (UTC)
Segel is an alternative version of Segal, which is a Jewish family name. His father Alvin Segel belonged to the Ashkenazi Jews.[1] --Ochrid (talk) 00:50, 28 November 2014 (UTC)

Who is that guy in the pictures?[edit]

Doesn't look like Jason Segel. (talk) 04:18, 18 March 2012 (UTC)

Scott Brown Memorial You’ve Just Done Something for Women Award[edit]

This appears to be a joke from a tv show, not sure it should be listed under awards? — Preceding unsigned comment added by (talk) 14:30, 21 December 2015 (UTC)
