Assessment comment

[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Jean-André Cuoq/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Please expand this article to include the following information:
  • His formative years and education
  • His acquisition of the Iroquoian and Angonquian languages
  • Reason on his prolific output on Iroquoian and Algonquian language materials, specifically on Mohawk and Algonquin, and the logic on how, when and why those works were published.
  • His impacts on community of Oka itself.
  • His impacts on First Nations who are descendents of the Seven Nations, particularly those whose ancestors were associated with Oka (i.e. his legacy).
  • Links to his works (many are available through Canadiana.org)
By addressing these points, this should bring the article from "Stub" to "B" rating. At that time, re-evaluation will be needed to figure out what needs to happen to make this article even better. CJLippert (talk) 17:25, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
