Comment

[edit]

Point of view opinions on Jeju United's move from Bucheon to Jeju should not be included in the article.

I have removed the following POV comments twice now and hope I will not have to do so again - such comments are NOT suitable for a Wikipedia article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.224.135.46 (talkcontribs)

In 2006, Bucheon SK abandoned their own fans and moved to Jeju without any fore notice and renamed themselves Jeju United FC. They became second immoral club after FC Seoul. It can be compared with the Milton Keynes Dons F.C.'s franchising case. Fans of Bucheon_FC are denying that this franchise is not the successor of Bucheon F.C.

Mediation process

[edit]

I am the mediator for the case. I hope to focus all discussion regarding the articles involved on that page. Could all concerned parties attend? Thank you. -- Evanx(tag?) 19:36, 13 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well

[edit]

Jeju has been highly criticized by fans and medias so POV does not that much matter.

it is very stupid

it is the fact that SK betrayed the fans of Bucheon F.C. Wikipedia does not reserve the right to blame those who critize the move of SK to Jeju. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.76.179.12 (talk) 12:36, 10 April 2007 (UTC).[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Jeju United.gif

[edit]

Image:Jeju United.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:24, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merger proposal

[edit]

There was a request (received in November 2013) at the Merger Noticeboard to merge Bucheon SK to the Jeju United FC article. GenQuest "Talk to Me" 04:33, 25 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Discussion below:

  • Merge Bucheon SK to Jeju United FC, delete Bucheon SK and redirect to Jeju United Officially, Jeju United and Bucheon SK are same club. Bucheon SK is a period of 1996~2005 of 31 years of Jeju United FC. Although, Franchise is different but period is just 10 years. It is not enough to create independent article.Footwiks (talk) 11:03, 26 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - so this is the same club/franchise that simply changed its name? If so then we definitely need to merge. GiantSnowman 18:41, 30 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Jeju United FC and Bucheon SK is officially same club. But Jeju United FC had many franchise since 1982 founding year. Bucheon is one of franchise of Jeju United FC.Footwiks (talk) 03:53, 1 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  • Jeju United FC and Bucheon SK are also merged on Korean wikipedia. Even the Buchon SK article don't have nobility in Korea. English wikepdia need not to keep this article.
