Speedy delete nomination

[edit]

Nominating for speedy one minute after creation--when there is at least one reliable ref in place--strikes me as too bitey.--Artiquities (talk) 15:16, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have added what I believe to be sufficient material for a reasonable stub.--Artiquities (talk) 16:41, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I did not intend to be bitey. The eighty articles that you have created in one month represent a substantial investment of time and effort, but you shouldn't be too sensitive to criticism. You created this article, and can be presumed to know more about the subject than most people. I am not the final arbiter of these things, and my opinion is just that - *my* opinion. You can take it or leave it, and no harm done. In my mind, however, the article won't stand up to scrutiny without adding some more substantial information relating both to why she is noteworthy and more background on her and her work. The article might pass muster as a stub as it stands, but might not. The wikilink might provides suggestions for establishing notability. TreacherousWays (talk) 18:10, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It has occurred to me that your article contributions seem to center on art. Although Jemima Stehli may not be noteworthy by herself, she may be noteworthy as a member of a group, and may deserve a paragraph in another article if this article doesn't make the cut. The lead needs to include anything that would lock in notability. Inclusion in anthology asserts significance. Will research. Dlohcierekim 22:48, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Asserts significance. I see sufficient G-books hits that potential sourcing, current sourcing, and overall notability need to be considered at AFD. Dlohcierekim 22:50, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Google news hits in German, English, French and Italian. Dlohcierekim 23:00, 15 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
