Felix the Cat

[edit]

I think it is important to point out that John canemakers claims that Felix the cat was created by An American & Otto Messmer & not by Australian Pat Sullivan have be proved to be a lie & fraud by John canemaker & Otto Messmer.

John canemaker has committed a fraud & has plagiarized another persons life work.

John canmakers been discredited by many international historians and animators & this page should reflect that fact. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 1.125.170.156 (talk) 19:59, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Those are serious charges, which you have not substantiated. {{Citation needed}}. See Canemaker, John. (1991). Felix: the twisted tale of the world's most famous cat. Pantheon Books. ISBN 067940127X., I have not read it. The Felix the Cat article says that Felix's origins remain disputed. The Otto Messmer and Pat Sullivan biographies also cover the dispute. – wbm1058 (talk) 15:12, 2 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, this stuff needs a bit of editing. Most of the material is copied from the source sites and the article itself is poorly organized. Could someone work on this? 74.69.159.5 03:15, 22 December 2006 (UTC)Sali[reply]
