Francis Ford Coppola
[edit]Francis Ford Coppola went to great neck south, not north
- Comment I want to clarify this -- Francis Ford Coppola graduated from 'Great Neck High School' which it seems turned into what is now North High school. His Daughter however -- graduated from South. If I am incorrect about this, please provide some other info to help wiki out. MrMacMan 21:57, 13 February 2007 (UTC)
Some discussion about graduates
[edit]Kenneth cole did not attend high school in great neck. middle school yes, high school no. Also I beleive astronaut Mary Cleave attended this school. should be added if anyone can find a source. 74.72.216.81 02:56, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well Kenneth Cole is listed as graduating from North Highschool here, which I can hope we can agree about is a good source of info. Mary Cleave is also a graduate you can find that here MrMacMan 05:56, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have since added Mary Cleave. MrMacMan 02:33, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
Assessment
[edit]This article has now been assessed in response to a request. The feedback given is as follows: This article talks about a variety of topics with some references. To improve, more references are needed and some sections which are currently just lists need to contain more detail in paragraphs. Also, a picture on what the school looks like today would be a good addition. Camaron1 | Chris 20:18, 20 April 2007 (UTC)
revert war
[edit]I couldn't add that students here have average ability...it says on the village school site....but you said that it can't say it on north or south b/c it doesn't say it there...so right now the revert war is the same concept. (209.177.21.6 - talk)
- I sourced the statement that the school is a public school. Something that you knew but still forced me into finding a source for. Thanks for wasting my time, eh? MrMacMan Talk 21:22, 16 May 2007 (UTC)
Definition of alumnus
[edit]Per alumnus, the definition is a "graduate or former student of a school, college, or university." Nikki Blonsky, who attended the school for a year, is an alumnus (or alumna, if you prefer). Alansohn (talk) 04:23, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
