Fraud in Iraq

Facebook Fraud

I have been contacted by someone who claims to be General John M Murray. I think he is an imposter. 137.118.101.43 (talk) 20:05, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

A woman in Australia is currently being scammed by someone purporting to be General Murray. She believes she is engaged to him, and that he is currently operating in Syria. Unfortunately she has already transferred AU$30K to the scammers, and is about to sell her home and move to the USA to be with "him".

A Facebook search will reveal at least a 100 profiles for General John M Murray, all very similar, if not identical. 117.20.68.216 (talk) 08:21, 26 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Man impersonating John Murray.

I think it is bad when someone says they are John Murray. He is doing things that are not right. I think that the real John might need to check into this man. What he does and says is terrible. He needs to be stopped. You take a many that has done all the good in life and someone tried to destroy the reputation of such a good person.
