Reverted edits[edit]

Not sure why my edits were reverted. If you revert again you better provide a good reason and be prepared to defend yourself in a RfC. Also, don't leave nag tags on my home page about "inappropriate edits", use the article talk page as it was designed to be used for content discussions. -- 71.191.43.139 04:01, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

MacGregor's nationality?[edit]

I know nothing about this man, but if he was born in Gravesend I would think that would him technically English, despite his surname. If he self-consciously nurtured a Scottish self-image despite his place of birth, I think that should be stated. Kim Traynor 01:08, 5 February 2013 (UTC)

Agreed: born in Kent, educated in Kent, Dublin and Cambridge, worked in London, died in Bournemouth; not too Scottish really, is he? I suggest a change to "British explorer" unless anybody objects. Alansplodge (talk) 19:03, 3 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Open Air Mission[edit]

I've deleted the section headed "The Open-Air Mission" (which was added last November) as it is a) the wrong John MacGregor, and b) a copyright violation. I trust everyone is OK with that. Moonraker12 (talk) 16:14, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
(Struck: actually, looking back, it may not be the wrong John MacGregor after all; but it's still a copyright violation. And it has already been mentioned... Moonraker12 (talk) 17:07, 30 April 2019 (UTC))[reply]
