It would be great, if we can find them, to have the Medal of Honor citations included, as many articles do. LordAmeth 16:16, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Lord Ameth, I couldn't agree with you more. I was looking for the same thing. I did some digging and I think those are the actual citations. They certainly don't read like modern citations though. There was probably a detailed report that was filed and maybe it was not the custom to put the actions of the person in the citation and this is modern innovation. Be aware that is total speculation on my part. I am also curious about how he earned the Navy Cross.

McCloy deserves a much longer article than this. It's a shame that a hero like this doesn't have more on here; most of the article is just dates. I still have no clue what he did.

A photograph would be nice also. McCloy has a very striking visage and is quite handsome. I don't know how to do this though. --Victoria h (talk) 03:32, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Good luck finding more information. Thanks for responding to my comment. LordAmeth (talk) 04:51, 28 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There is a problem with the date of his enlistment, as he received his first Medal of Honor three years prior to the date listed. If I can find the correct information I will correct the entry.Jeff (talk) 16:12, 17 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
