FORMER MONAGHAN M.P.

The funeral of Mr. John McKean, former M.P. for Monaghan, took place on Saturday to Glasnevin after Requiem Mass in the Hospice for the Dying, celebrated by Very Rev. M. E. Murphy, P.P., St. Columba's, who also officiated at the graveside.

Amongst those present were—Mr: Sean MacEntee, Minister for Local Government; Dr. C. Ward, Parliamentary Secretary; Matthew McCabe and Terence Doyle, solr.
