John Norman MasseyJack Massey – Known as Jack Massey. There is a redirect in that place pointing to Jack C. Massey and I propose to distinguish via a hatnote; I have tidied up incoming links already. Schwede66 19:53, 17 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • Just for clarification, I never claimed that he's the primary topic. What I'm saying is that he's generally known as Jack Massey, and not as John Norman Massey. If a hatnote does not suffice, then 'Jack Massey' could be disambiguated ('politician' would be most suitable), but what should not happen is for the article not to be moved, as the name isn't right. Well, Jack C. Massey is the de facto primary topic for "Jack Massey" at the moment, and this proposal would change it. Jack Massey may work best as a dab, and we could move this article to a title like Jack Massey (politician). On the other hand, it does seem Jack C. Massey is frequently referred to with his middle initial. Maybe we could call a WP:TWODABS situation. --BDD (talk) 21:36, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Either option would work for me. Schwede66 22:51, 24 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
