La Torre?

I'm afraid referring to someone called 'La Torre' is not really informative enough. There are a bazillion people with that name, and I have not been able to find out who exactly this article is referring to. Googling La Torre and 1674 just brings me back to this article. The Spanish wikipedia has 500 references to some La Torre or other. Could someone please clarify who this person is or link his name to the relevant page? Thanks!
