Last Use?[edit]

I placed Johnny in the 1982 disestablishments category because that's when the law protecting the character was repealed, but any one know when he was last used by the BLM? Caerwine Caer’s whines 00:10, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Johnny was later used by the Tennessee Valley Authority under BLM license when that agency was responsible for the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. There's a reason for that: the Bureau had arranged for Snoopy to partner up with Johnny for the cause, and was using him in brochures and such starting in 1971. You can see coverage of it here. I would add some Snoopy information to this article, but I have a WP:COI when it comes to Peanuts.
