[edit]Where, exactly, is it written that Inge Crouchback was too invalid to have children? Certainly not in Heimskringla, nor in Sverris saga. Inge had a bad back - this should not impair his reproductive capabilities in any way. Sverris saga does claim that he was not Inge's son, but it can hardly be called impartial. I am rewriting this sentence. --Barend 17:19, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
- Sverris saga also mention one Harald Ingesson at Fimreite, but IIRC there's a note in my edition (Khot's translation) where the translator claims that Inge had no known issue. I don't have saga aviable now though. OTOH Claus Krag seems to think that Jon's claim is reasonably plausible Fornadan (t) 18:19, 12 July 2006 (UTC)
