Speaking of Joseph Sartori, Sr., Wallace says on page 3 of his biography, “…whose ancestors had migrated from Italy to south Germany many years before…”. So, Sartori’s ancestry is Italian through his father and German through his mother. The “probably” comment, which seems to have led to doubt as to his Italian roots in the earlier text, was taken from the McGroarty biographic essay on Sartori. I edited the original text concerning his ancestry to make it more accurate and then added the edited text back into the article. In addition, since his parents play a fairly large part in his early life, I have restored their names as well. See especially the part of the article concerning the memorial Sartori and his father established for Joseph’s mother Theresa in the Sartori Memorial Hospital, and see the link to that site. 1951bfrj (talk) 19:47, 1 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
