This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (of the historical breath and depth importance of the journalist's work in both the context of what she has photographed as well as when---during the newspaper-online shift. ) --Allthedaysandmorethensome (talk) 09:38, 4 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have yet to finish the article, and didn't save properly, so a drafted, and unedited version saved. I had several more references and citations to add. So the article being judged wasn't the full, complete product. Sorry!

Hunt is a published photographer in print and online. Her work is found in the books (The Boston Globe's and Betrayal: The Crisis in the Catholic Church: The findings that inspired Spotlight and "Finally The Red Sox are Champions after 86 Years) . Her work has generated historical images of Boston, and its corresponding national news ,including Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney's Bain Capital Financial, and Facebook's Mark Zuckerberg, reactions to Catholic Church crisis and various United States Sports history of Red sox, Bruins, Celtics.

Also, I think its important to cite actual print newspaper photographers, as, print newspapers's decline are a part of a greater historical importance. Lastly, as a female/woman photographer during the 1990s-2000s and a part of the creation to online news; there is a lack of information on women in the journalism industry and their trailblazing efforts a part of the beginning of the Internet and online news. Her work was some of the first images posted, and these archives still exist. Some of her work include Spot EMS and breaking news, all of which a part of the city of Boston's history. Finally, her work, as is all photojournalists' work is art, and more needs to be brought to the attention of the politics and production of image creation in the media. [1]

Both her images are important as well as the time she was working. Also, as a female photographer during the 1990s-2000s, there were not many women/female news photojournalists creating the kind of work (EMS, breaking news, fire that she was).
