Was NATO absolutely blind?

[edit]

"A few years ago the town existed only on Russian military maps" - Guardian. I would not take it for granted. Does this mean that NATO forces were unaware of the base? Quite doubtful. NVO (talk) 19:05, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is what the source says. I am sure that NATO knew about it, but Klomino was not placed on any civilian maps or atlases, Polish, Soviet or others. Tymek (talk) 19:31, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is the name right?

[edit]

On the map I linked the German name is Wesfalenhof. 74.15.21.54 (talk) 03:41, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

German Wiki gives the name as Westwalenhof. Tymek (talk) 19:55, 24 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

B-class review

[edit]

This article is currently at start/C class, but could be improved to B-class if it had more (inline) citations. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| talk to me 23:46, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
