Landing in Tkvarcheli

[edit]

What does it mean? Since Tkvarcheli isn't a port it must be airborne landing. I've never heard of it and frankly I don't see the point in landing in Tkvarcheli to attack villages near Sukhumi. Alæxis¿question? 17:08, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Read more sources, and you'll find out. Ldingley 17:22, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thx for the advice. So, what source tells about the airborne landing of Abkhaz troops in Tkuarchal with the purpose of attacking villages near Sukhumi? Alæxis¿question? 18:11, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Alex, you were correct. I checked and it was Ochamchire landing. I confused between the two cities. Thanks. Ldingley 21:06, 28 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Mamao andria da youri anuaa.jpg

[edit]

Image:Mamao andria da youri anuaa.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Landing in Ochamchire

[edit]

The article sais: On July 02, 1993 under the Russian military directives and naval support, the Abkhaz and their allies (Confederation of Mountain Peoples of the Caucasus) landed in Ochamchire and attacked the villages on the Gumista river.

The river gumista flows east and north of Sukhumi, and attacks where from these directions. Landing in Ochamchire has not direct effect in Kamani, Shroma and Achadare, but indirect because cut off supply line to Sujumi. Troops landed in Ochamchire didn't fight in Sukhumi.--Shliahov (talk) 14:37, 27 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As per subject, the video links at the end of the article are not available any more. Sogno (talk) 10:21, 27 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
