Creation of eyalet
[edit]Underlying lk, please do not revert my edits without discussion. Your source is clearly wrong. It is simply not possible that Kanije eyalet is created directly from Budin eyalet because it was in fact created from Zigetvar Eyalet, while Sanjak of Pojega was part of Bosnia Eyalet before this. - Source about Sanjak of Pojega from Sarajevo university: http://www.scribd.com/doc/7528328/Hasii-AsmirSlavonija-u-sastavu-Osmanskog-carstva Quote from page 8: "Sandžak Požega je 1537.-1541. u sastavu Rumelije, a zatim 1541.- 1580. u sastavu ejaleta Budim. 1580. godine, formiranjem ejaleta Bosna, u sastav Bosne uz Pakrac ulazi i Požega. Tako je cijela Slavonija s svoja dva sandžaka u periodu 1580.-1600. u sastavu ejaleta Bosna. Većina literature govori o odvajanju Požege od Bosne iza 1600. godine i pripajanju ejaletu Kanjiža." In English: "Sanjak of Pojega was part of Rumelia from 1537 to 1541, then part Budin eyalet from 1541 to 1580. In 1580, when Bosnia eyalet was formed, Pojega, together with Pakrac became part of this eyalet. So, the whole Slavonia, with its two sanjaks was from 1580 to 1600 part of Bosnia eyalet. Most of literature confirm that Pojega was separated from Bosnia and included into eyalet of Kanije after 1600." PANONIAN 05:35, 26 September 2011 (UTC)
