Gay promotion

The picture captioned "Gay party" seems to be medical examination of Army recruits! Also in the caption of antother picture word "gay" is superfluous!

Given that this has been excerpted on the main page, shouldn't the name of the guy in the title be at least consistent in the latin and the cyrillic? - He is called Karl Karlovitch in the Russian text in the opening paragraph and Karl Ostwald one paragraph later!! --5telios 12:20, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
