Fair use rationale for Image:Almost Heathen.jpg

[edit]

Image:Almost Heathen.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Dr. Who is in the band?

[edit]

This line makes no sense:

The band was formed in 1997 and, after years of viral self promotion, (including phoning record companies pretending to be other bands promoting Karma To Burn) were signed to Roadrunner Records in 1996.

Dr. Who is in the band? 24.132.49.174 (talk) 22:45, 26 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The line does make sense. Before they were signed to a label, they used to phone different labels and pretend to be other bands. Whilst in the persona of said band, they would reccommend that their label check out and sign a band called Karma To Burn.

"They sent the tape out to labels. With tactics Howard Stern would applaud, they called labels impersonating other bands spewing what the world will soon find out about...the madness and mayhem of Karma To Burn." http://www.roadrunnerrecords.com/artists/karmatoburn/ Gedmundo (talk) 17:37, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Daniel Davies

[edit]

Daniel Davies of Year Long Disaster has been touring with the band of late (just as K2B toured as the instruments section of Year Long Disaster in June for festival appearances), he was on the last album as the singer on Waiting On The Western World and somebody has edited to say that he's going to appear on the next album in 2011 (though without a source, so I'm not sure on the truth of that.) Should he be added to the current members of the band? Gedmundo (talk) 11:35, 26 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Update: Found sources and what not, he has joined the band and I've added a section to the effect Gedmundo (talk) 19:28, 8 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
