References

[edit]

There is an inappropriate reference following the last sentence of paragraph 1. It is inappropriate for art history be used as a reference on sociological or religious aspects of a culture. There must be an appropriate reference from an egyptologist (preferably, more than one). The reference, and associated statement: "This highlights Khafre's importance and power as a ruler.", should be removed until the assertion can be referenced by an appropriate authority. This is also seen with the statement, "This highlights Khafre's importance and power as a ruler". The reference is again, an art historical text. On the page, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khafre, the statement is made: "Not much is known about Khafre, except from the historical reports of Herodotus, writing 2,000 years after his life, who describes him as a cruel ruler who kept the Egyptian temples closed after Khufu had sealed them." This only implies power, and not leadership, was used by Khafre. The text regarding belief systems would better fit in an article on Egyptian beliefs, which could be reached by links from here.BRealAlways (talk) 14:33, 22 February 2021 (UTC)BRealAlways (talk) 14:34, 22 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
