Kim Ji-woong (entertainer)Kim Ji-woong – Proposing Kim Ji-woong (entertainer) be moved to Kim Ji-woong usurping the disambiguation.

Guidelines indicate that these two articles should be disambiguated with a hatnote rather than a standalone disambiguation page per WP:ONEOTHER.

Over the last year, entertainer has received 470x more average daily pageviews than Kim Ji-woong (footballer) so clear primary topic (WP:PT1), and clickstream shows almost all traffic to Kim Ji-woong proceeds to entertainer. Footballer is a 6 word stub with no citations that could probably be brought to AfD. RachelTensions (talk) 01:57, 18 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hatnote

[edit]

@HypeBoy heads up, part of the accepted consensus (see above) was that a hatnote be placed on the article directing people to Kim Ji-woong (footballer). The whole jist of WP:ONEOTHER is that one article receives substantially more views than another - if pageview stats mattered for whether or not two articles with the same name receive hatnotes then almost none under WP:ONEOTHER would receive them.

The hatnote is the alternative to having a whole disambiguation page (which is what this article previously had) RachelTensions (talk) 01:50, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@RachelTensions: Didn't notice the discussion above. If there's consensus between editors, then policy doesn't matter as much per WP:IGNORE. Have restored your version. Cheers. — ‎‎‎hhypeboyh 💬✏️ 01:57, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
